August has been another exciting month at HONA, with new arrivals joining our best-selling Tortie range, our End of Season Sale bringing some of our biggest savings of the year, and plenty of amazing collaborations with creators from across the HONA community.

From fresh product launches and inspiring nail art to community moments and seasonal favourites, there’s been plenty happening. Let’s take a look back at everything August had in store, plus a little peek at what’s coming next... 

New in the Tortie range

We expanded our best-selling Tortie range with two new additions: Blonde Tortie Detail Paint and Tortie Cat Eye. Designed to give you even more ways to recreate the iconic tortie look, these new launches bring fresh depth, dimension and versatility to one of our most-loved nail art trends. With tortie showing no signs of slowing down, we’re expecting these to be firm favourites over the coming months.

Golden Hour with Maisie Jackson

This month, we had the privilege of joining @maisiejacksonbeauty for her Golden Hour soirée, a beautiful event centred around community, connection and supporting fellow nail techs.

To celebrate the occasion, Maisie created her very own Golden Hour Detail Paint, a shade designed and named especially for her community and now available for everyone to enjoy. Having first met Maisie at our Moonlight Fiesta event in 2023, it felt incredibly special to support her as she created that same welcoming space for others.

A lovely reminder of just how powerful this industry can be when creativity and community come together.

We wanted to give you all the tools to create tortie your way. From the original Tortie Detail Paint and new Blonde Tortie to Tortie Cat Eye and Foils, the full Tortie range gives you different ways to build depth, dimension and those beautifully organic finishes.

September Trending Nail Art 

As we head into September, nail trends begin their shift into autumn. Summer brights start to make way for richer, deeper tones, glossy finishes and more transitional nail art, while still keeping some of the creativity and texture we’ve loved throughout summer. Think wearable autumn colour, layered finishes and designs that ease clients into the new season without going full autumn just yet.
