March has been full of exciting moments at HONA. With spring on the horizon, we launched our brand new 10-piece Cat Eye Collection, A Fairytale Begins..., celebrated our Welsh heritage with Daffodil Cuticle Oil, and marked International Women’s Day by recognising the amazing women who shape our industry. We celebrated International Women’s Day this month with a special feature honouring the incredible women who continue to shape, inspire and uplift the nail industry. From community leaders to innovators, the blog shines a light on the passion, resilience and creativity that make this industry so special. Triple Awards Wins

We’re incredibly proud to share that HONA received three award wins this month, recognising both the brand’s innovation and leadership within the beauty sector. In March, we were named Best Hair & Nail Company at the Business Growth Wales Awards, Co-Founder Mike Henson received the Visionary Leadership award, and HONA was also recognised as Innovation & Technology Business of the Year at the Newport Business Awards. These achievements are a proud moment for the whole team and a reflection of the work happening behind the scenes to continue raising standards within the nail industry.

What's Coming Next... 

Looking ahead to April, we’ll be introducing a new website update designed to make shopping with HONA even simpler. From 9th April, all prices across the HONA website will be displayed inclusive of VAT, and the VAT toggle will be removed. This update is not a price increase, it simply means VAT-inclusive pricing will now be shown as standard, helping create a more seamless and consistent shopping experience for everyone.

The change has been made in direct response to our community, with 99% of customers telling us in a recent poll that they already shop with prices shown inclusive of VAT. For anyone who still needs to see the ex-VAT value, this will remain clearly visible on order invoices, and can also be easily calculated by dividing the inclusive price by 1.2. At HONA, we’re always listening, and this is another step towards making changes that reflect the way our community actually shops.
