The HONA mission is to educate, inspire and improve the talents of the modern day nail technician as well as empower the nail community through uncompromising integrity, transparency and service.
WHAT WE DO
HONA is a professional nail brand dedicated to creating hypoallergenic, HEMA-free nail systems that prioritise the health and safety of both nail technicians and their clients. We offer a full range of high-performance products, including builder gels, gel polish, soft gel extensions, and nail art tools, designed to support every stage of a nail tech’s journey. Alongside our products, HONA provides expert-led education through accredited online and in-person courses, and fosters a supportive, inclusive community that empowers nail technicians to grow their skills and businesses with confidence.

From our accredited online and in-person courses, to personalised 1-2-1 support calls, events, quick replies to DMs, and a growing library of blogs designed to help techs level up their knowledge and skills. Our formulas are developed with performance and safety in mind, which means every product is hypoallergenic, vegan, cruelty-free, and completely free from HEMA, HPMA, TPO, and IBOA. On top of that, we offer a loyalty programme and subscription savings to help make building your business more affordable in the long run.
THE STORY OF HONA
We believe in doing things properly. We launched HONA with expert support from world-class chemists, including our original collaboration with Jim McConnell, to ensure our gel system met the highest safety and performance standards. Today, as we grow, we’ve brought our product development in-house and are so proud to say we are truly a Welsh brand with our products made in Wales. This gives us full control over our formulas, ingredient transparency, and quality. While allowing us to innovate faster, test more rigorously, and respond to the needs of our community. Our products are developed by a small team of trusted chemists, tested with industry professionals, and guided by Charlotte Henson’s extensive knowledge as a working nail tech and educator. This balance of scientific expertise and industry experience is what keeps HONA products safer, stronger and smarter, always.
